Meet Hazel

Hazel is an affectionate, playful young girl with the gentlest soul. She loves to proudly carry her toys around like precious treasures, and every so often she'll bring one over to you-just to politely ask if you'd like to admire it. Hazel prefers her toys treated with care (no wild throwing, thank you very much!) and loves keeping playtime calm and kind.

She adores gentle pats and quiet affection from her people, happily soaking up love when it's offered at her pace. Hazel can feel a little unsure with close handling or restraint, so she's looking for a patient family who will let her build confidence and trust in her own time.

Hazel would love to live indoors as part of the family, where she can be included in everyday life. She's still learning the basics and doesn't seem to know any cues just yet, but she's bright and ready to start from scratch with positive, gentle training.

Daily physical exercise and mental enrichment are important for this sweet girl-and here's a fun fact: Hazel is a water kid! She loves splashing and playing with her water bowls, so having a few around the house would make her day. Even better? A little clam shell pool where she can dip, splash, and dig her adorable toe beans to her heart's content.

Important notes for Hazel's adoption:

- Children must come in to meet her at the time of adoption
- She must meet any other dogs in the household before going home
- Hazel can be a bit unsure when meeting other dogs, so calm, positive introductions are key
